Out of office assistant not updating

After changing the settings, Out of Office will also be able to send the replies to those people who are not part of the organization. By this, strange addresses are not capable to send the message to the user.

Solution: By default, the assistant reply only once per address. But, sometimes, users need to send a message to all the addresses again.

Furthermore, if the users want to reply to every single message that has been received, then it can be done by the server-side rules. Hence, for this, the end user needs to contact Exchange administrator. Note: For client-side rules, automatic replies begin with a rule to only send the reply once per address and Outlook should be rolling in order to complete the process.

Resolved my issue. Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Sign in to vote. It is a upgarded version from our original Exchange server. The problem initially was some of our users could not use Out Of Office assistant from Outlook. They have to use OWA to configure it. Later I found the problem was caused by Internet Proxy setting we are using.

After we put the exchange internal address into the proxy exclude list, all of those users are able to use OOO from their Outlook execpt one user. This particular user was using Outlook I then thought it probably is a Outlook issue, so upgrade her Outlook to Now the fun starts Now when the user tries to use OOF from Outlook , she gets the classic error: " Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is not available ".
